Inspired by „Around the World in 80 days' Balloon Hostel offers a variety of attractions, starting with each room being decorated in the style referring to cities visited by Fileas Fogg during his journey.

For our guests we have an open-access kitchen, where delicious home-made breakfasts are served every morning, a garden with open-air cinema where you can lay down in hammocks and relax, a cozy basement with selection of games, great sound system and unique ambience and beautiful decorated rooms so you will feel better than at home:-)

Our crew will direct you to the best places in town and recommend interesting cultural events.

WHAT MAKES US UNUSUAL?

If you are looking for some non-commercial cultural events than you are just in the right place! We are organizing concerts with different styles of music such as ambient, dub, experimental-electronic and much more. Also in our private garden you will be able to watch documentaries and cult classic movies, so.... don't miss it!

WHY IT IS BETTER TO STAY ON JEWISH DISTRICT THAN ON THE MAIN SQUARE?

• Because it is real, non commercial, beautiful, full of old monuments, museums, art galleries, cafes, bars & restaurants,

• There is less tourists than natives so it's more authentic (on the main square it's just inversely!)

• It is a real center of alternative concerts, exhibitions, performances etc.

• It's next to the Visla river, 10 minutes walk from Main Market, 5 minutes walk from Podgórze ( the part of Kraków situated on the other side of the river)

• The time here flows much slower than you could expect

• It's a magic place! You can easily get lost and find almost forgotten lanes:-)
